Educational Qualifications of DC Darrang Recruitment 2023:

Grade-III :

Candidates applying for the Grade-III position must meet the following minimum educational qualifications:

Graduate Degree:
- The candidate should hold a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized State/Central University.
Computer Application Diploma/Certificate:
- A minimum of 6 months diploma/certificate in computer application from a Recognized Institute is mandatory.
Computer Proficiency:

Proficiency in basic computer applications is essential, including but not limited to:
- MS Windows
- Excel
- Linux
- PowerPoint
- DTP (Assamese/English)
- Spreadsheet
- Presentation of Graphics
- Concept of Database
- Word Processor
- Internet Processing, etc.

2. Grade-IV:

VIII passed.

- Valid registration certificate of employment exchange
- Caste certificate
- Income and Asset certificate of the family issued by the concerned Revenue Circle (for EWS reservation)
- Valid mobile number for further communication.

3. Document Upload for Grade-IV Applicants:

For Grade-IV applicants, the following documents must be uploaded:
- VIII standard passed certificate
- Valid registration certificate of employment exchange
- Caste certificate
- Income and Asset certificate of the family issued by the concerned Revenue Circle (for EWS reservation)
- Valid mobile number for further communication.

4. Application Procedure for Government Servants:

Candidates already in government service should apply through the proper channel.

5. Written Examination and Computer Test:

Candidates whose applications are accepted based on eligibility criteria will be required to:
- Appear in a written examination.
- Qualified candidates will undergo a computer test.

6. Choice of Language:

Candidates shall exercise their choice of language (Assamese/Bodo/Bengali/Alternative English) at the time of submission of the application. Once the choice is exercised, it shall be final.

7. Selection Committee Decision:

The selection committee reserves the right to accept or reject candidature after proper scrutiny of documents/testimonials.
The decision of the selection committee is final and binding.

8. Merit-Based Selection:

Selection will be done strictly on a merit basis.
The selection committee will adhere to the rules and procedures laid down by the government in preparing the select list.

9. Appointment Process:

The appointment will be made after necessary police verification, medical examination, and document verification as per the prescribed procedure.

Selection Process of DC Darrang Recruitment 2023:

Candidates whose applications are accepted will undergo a comprehensive selection process. Here are the details of the selection procedure:

1. Objective Type Written Test:

The first stage of the selection process is an objective type written test to be conducted at the District Head Quarter, Darrang. The exact date will be notified later through newspapers and the Darrang district website (WWW.darrang.gov.in).
The written test will consist of two parts:

Qualifying Marks: Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% for unreserved candidates and 40% for reserved candidates in Part-I.

Part-II: Computer Test

50 Marks for candidates who qualify in Part-I.
Candidates will be four times the number of vacancies for each category based on the marks obtained in Part-I.

Note:

Candidates must secure a minimum of 20 marks in the practical test; otherwise, they will not be considered for the final list.
A select list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in both Part-I and Part-II, containing the names of selected candidates in order of merit equal to the number of vacant posts notified.

2. Criteria for Grade-IV (Multi Tasking Staff) Selection:

Written Test for 50 marks, including:
- Test on Language (30 marks): Assamese Language (for Assamese medium School), Bengali Language (for Bengali medium School), Bodo Language (for Bodo medium School), English Language (for English medium School).
- Test on General Knowledge (20 marks): Comprising Assam, history, geography, and culture of Assam.
A select list will be prepared based on the marks obtained, containing the names of selected candidates in order of merit equal to the number of vacant posts notified.
