Eligibility Criteria of NTPC Limited Recruitment 2023:
Educational Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil/Mining Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
- Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS for Open Cast Coal Mines
Health :
- Candidates should have sound health.
- Before joining, candidates must undergo a medical examination at any of the NTPC hospitals, and the decision will be final and binding.

General Conditions:
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- All qualifications should be from Universities/Institutions recognized and approved in India.
- Age/qualification calculations will be done with respect to the last date of receipt of the online application as mentioned in the advertisement.
- Candidates claiming to belong to any particular category must have a valid EWS/OBC/SC/ST certificate from the Competent Authority.
Salary of NTPC Recruitment 2023:
Level/Pay Scale for Recruitment:
- E0 Level / IDA (Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000).
- Additionally, DA, other perquisites and allowances, HRA/Company Accommodation, Medical Facilities, PRP, Group Insurance, Terminal benefits, etc., as per Company’s Rules in force.
- Selected candidates will be initially recruited on NML rolls and provisionally provided NTPC pay/benefits. However, they will subsequently be shifted to NTPC Mining Limited (NML) pay structure.

5. Applicants falling under the SC/ST/XSM category and female candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.

Selection Process of NTPC Limited Recruitment 2023:
- All India Online Selection Test:
- Eligible candidates will be required to appear for the All India Online Selection Test.
- The test will be based on category-wise merit, ensuring a fair evaluation of candidates.
- Shortlisting for Document Verification:
- Candidates successful in the online test will be shortlisted for document verification.
- The shortlisting process will be based on performance in two parts of the test: Subject Knowledge and Executive Aptitude.
- Test Structure:
- The All India Online Selection Test consists of two parts:
- Subject Knowledge Test
- Executive Aptitude Test
- Candidates must qualify separately in both parts.
- The All India Online Selection Test consists of two parts:
- Choice of Test Center:
- Candidates will be required to choose a test center for the online selection test during the application process.
- NTPC reserves the right to cancel or add any center based on the response received from candidates in a particular area/center.
- Vacancy Adjustment:
- The Company reserves the right to cancel, restrict, curtail, or enlarge the number of vacancies based on organizational requirements.
- This may occur without any further notice, and the Company is not obligated to provide reasons for such adjustments.
- Application Compliance:
- While applying for the post, candidates must ensure they fulfill the eligibility and other norms mentioned in the advertisement.
