Must possess Master of Computer Application degree with atleast 50% Marks

BE / BTech (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT) with atleast 50%marks

Selection Process of Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2024
Stage1
Written Examination:
Format: Objective type multiple choices questions
Total Marks: 120 Marks
Exam Duration: 2 hours
Exam Marks:
- English Proficiency (10 marks),
- General Knowledge (20 marks),
- General Aptitude and Reasoning (20 marks),
- Technical knowledge (50 marks)
- Assamese language (20 marks).
The Assamese language segment will be of qualifying nature and candidates securing atleast 40% marks i.e. 8 out of 20 marks in the Assamese language segment shall be treated as qualified to appear in the Skill Test
Stage 2
Skill Test:
Total Marks: 50 Marks
Candidates called for skill Test: Candidates equal to 5 times of the number of vacancies (1:5) in order of merit on the basis of the marks obtained in the Written Examination will be called for appearing in the Skill Test.
Qualification Criteria: A candidate shall have to secure at least 60% marks, i.e. 30 out of 50
marks in order to be considered qualified in the Skill Test.
Stage 3
Viva Voce/ Interview:
Total Marks: 20 Marks
Candidates called for Viva Voce/Interview: Candidates in the ratio of 1:3(candidates for 1 post) in order of merit on the basis of the marks obtained in the Written Examination and Skill Test combined, may be called to appear in the Interview.
Qualification Criteria: A candidate shall have to secure atleast 60% marks in the interview i.e. 12 out of 20 marks in the Interview in order to be considered qualified.

Final Selection Process of Gauhati High Court Recruitment:
The Final selection will be made on the basis of the grand total marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination, Skill Test and Interview/Viva-Voce combined.
Where more than one candidate obtains same grand total marks, the candidate who obtains more marks in the Skill Test will get preference.
Where the marks obtained by such candidates in the Skill test are also same, then the candidate who is senior in age will get preference.
