The District Commissioner Lakhimpur and Chairperson of the District e-Governance Society (DEGS), Lakhimpur, invite applications from eligible Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam for the Various positions under DEGS, Lakhimpur. The appointments will be on a contractual basis, initially for a period of 11 (eleven) months.

1. Name of the post: District Project Manager (DPM)

  • Number of Positions: 1 (one)
  • Monthly Fixed Remuneration: Rs. 22,000.00

2. Name of the post:: District Technical Support Staff (DTSS)

  • Number of Positions: 2 (two)
  • Monthly Fixed Remuneration: Rs. 14,000.00″

Duration of Assignment & Work Location of District Commissioner Lakhimpur Recruitment

Duration of Assignment

The initial contract for the positions of District Project Manager (DPM) and District Technical Support Staff (DTSS) shall be for a period of 11 (eleven) months. The duration of the contract may be extended for the next term based on satisfactory performance and good conduct, evaluated at the end of each ongoing contract period.

Work Location

The primary work location for the District Project Manager (DPM) shall be the Office of the District Commissioner, Lakhimpur. The incumbent may be required to provide services across the district.

The District Technical Support Staff (DTSS) shall be required to offer technical support at Revenue Circle Offices or as deemed necessary by DEGS, Lakhimpur.

Eligibility Criteria of District Commissioner Lakhimpur Recruitment 2023

Academic Qualification & Experience

1. District Project Manager (DPM)

  • Minimum Academic Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with working knowledge of computer field and proficiency in computer systems.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 2 (two) years of experience in working with IT.

2. District Technical Support Staff (DTSS)

  • Minimum Academic Qualification: 10+2 passed with a diploma in IT.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 1 (one) year of experience in working in the IT field.

Age Limits of District Commissioner Lakhimpur Recruitment 2023

The maximum age for applying for the positions of DPM & DTSS shall be 41 years as of January 1st, 2023.

This age limit may be relaxed for applicants who have been serving in a similar position under the same or any other District Administration, with the number of years served being taken into consideration, up to a maximum of 8 years.

Along with the application, candidates are required to enclose self-attested copies of their minimum educational qualifications, relevant work experience, and any other documents pertaining to a diploma in IT.

Selection Process of DC Lakhimpur Recruitment 2023

The selection process for both the District Project Manager (DPM) and District Technical Support Staff (DTSS) positions will consist of a written exam followed by a personal interview, conducted separately for each role.

Written Exam:

  • The written exam will comprise 50 multiple-choice questions, totaling 50 marks.
  • Questions will be based on the following topics: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Knowledge of Computer Systems.

Personal Interview:

  • The personal interview will carry a total of 50 marks.
  • The final selection of candidates will be based on the combined scores obtained in the written exam and the personal interview, with a maximum score of 100.

Additional Consideration:

  • Candidates with prior service in a similar position under any District Administration across the state will receive 2 marks for each year of service, up to a maximum of 16 marks in the personal interview.
  • This additional consideration is applicable for a maximum experience period of 8 years.
