About Cotton University:
Cotton University, formerly known as Cotton College, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1901 by Sir Henry Stedman Cotton, the Chief Commissioner of the erstwhile British province of Assam.
Over the years, it evolved into a constituent college of Gauhati University in 1948. In 2011, the Cotton College State University was established, and in 2017, Cotton University came into existence through The Cotton University Act, 2017, which unified Cotton College State University and Cotton College.

Position: Junior Assistant
Vacancies: 1
Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/-, Grade Pay: Rs. 8700/-
Essential Qualifications:
- A graduate degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 50 per cent marks or its equivalent in the CGPA scale.
- Functional computer literacy.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in a reputed Government firm or institution of higher education/research institution in an equivalent position.
- Proficiency in both English and Assamese.
- Capable of multi-tasking.
Age Limit: Up to 43 years on 1st Dec 2023

Application Deadline and Fee:
- Applications received after the last date will not be entertained.
- The application processing fee is Rs. 500/-. This fee is non-refundable and should be paid through the University Bank Challan available on the University website.
