Salary: Scale Pay Rs 1,31,400/ to 2,17,100/

III) Name of Post : Assistant Professor

Number of Post : 100

Salary: Scale Pay Rs 57,700/ to Rs 1,82,400/

Cotton University Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: As per UGC Regulation 2018. with its subsequent amendments, if any from time to time, to be followed for Direct Recruitment of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.

To recruit Assistant Professors with good research background, University has given weightage (as per UGC rules) to the research papers published in journals with Impact Factors (As per Thomson Reuters list) keeping the fundamental selection process of UGC intact.

Age : Only Admit Card/pass certificate of HSLC/HS or equivalent issued by the concerned educational board will be considered as proof of date of birth. No other document will be accepted for verification of date of birth. The age limits shall be governed by the UGC Guidelines. Age will be calculated as on January 01, 2024.

Reservation: Reservation policy of the Govt. of Assam shall apply to all Categories.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC/PWD category should submit the respective certificate in the prescribed format of the Govt. of Assam.
