Assam TET Recruitment 2023: The Director of Elementary Education Assam has recently issued an employment notification regarding 1750 vacancies of Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher and Hindi Teacher of UP Schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam. Eligible and interested candidates may apply online here.

Online applications are hereby invited through the official website of DEE, Assam, i.e. https://dee.assam.gov.in from eligible Indian Citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and permanent residents of Assam, who are qualified in Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for UP Schools, for filling up of 1750 (One Thousand Seven Hundred and fifty) vacancies of Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher and Hindi Teacher of UP Schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam.

Assam TET Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications and Experience for Assam TET Recruitment :

i) Assistant Teacher:

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent)

Graduate from the UGC recognized University

And 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR
Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education

And
Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School

(Non-Essential)
1) NCC Certificate – 5 marks for “C” Certificate and 3 marks for “B” Certificate

Or
2) 5 Marks for participation/ achievement in recognized sports at National Level or beyond
representing State or Nation.

Or
3) 5 Marks for participation/ achievement in recognized Fine Arts and Cultural Activities
representing State at National Level or Beyond representing State or Nation (Organised by recognized institutions)

ii) Science Teacher:

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent)

BSC from the UGC recognized University

And 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR
Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education

And
Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School

(Non-Essential)
1) NCC Certificate – 5 marks for “C” Certificate and 3 marks for “B” Certificate

Or
2) 5 Marks for participation/ achievement in recognized sports at National Level or beyond
representing State or Nation.

iii) Hindi Teacher:

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent)

Graduate with Hindi as one of the subject from the UGC recognized University

And

Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School

vii. Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC).

viii. Document in support of Permanent Resident of Assam.

x. Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority.

Assam TET Recruitment 2023 Other Criteria

1.Candidates must have to give the choice of district as per the district drop down menu provided during online application.

2. In case two or more candidates obtained equal marks in aggregate, then the seniority of age shall be preferred.

3. No person having more than two living children on or after 01.01.2021 from a single or
multiple partners shall be eligible for appointment as per the Govt. policy on Small Family
