i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.


ii) Proof of residency includes either a PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes

iii) or an Employment Exchange Registration certificate of Assam, to be submitted with the online application.

Educational Qualifications of APSC Recruitment 2023

i) Second Class Master’s Degree with a consistently outstanding academic record.


ii) A B.T/B.Ed degree is required.
Teaching experience in schools and colleges for 10 years

iii)OR administrative experience for 10 years, including 5 years of teaching.

How to Apply for APSC Recruitment 2023

Applicants are required to submit their applications exclusively through APSC’s recruitment website.

No other methods or modes of application will be entertained, and submissions made through alternative channels will be promptly rejected.

If applicants have not yet registered on the Online Recruitment Portal of APSC, they should visit the APSC’s recruitment website at https://apscrecruitment.in.

To initiate the process, they can click on the ‘Register Here’ link and complete the One Time Registration (OTR) by providing essential details.

During the online application, it is advisable for applicants to register using a valid and active email address.

Details regarding interview schedules and document requirements to support claims made in the application will be communicated through the Commission’s website.

Upon creating an account, applicants should log in using their credentials. Once logged in, they need to furnish One Time Registration details, encompassing Personal Information, Educational Qualification, Work Experience, Photo (Min size-50 KB & Max size-200 KB, not older than 3 months), Signature (Min size-50 KB & Max size-200 KB), and other necessary documents.

Following submission, applicants can download the One Time Registration details and proceed to the application form by clicking on ‘Applicant Section’ => ‘Apply Section’ link.

Before applying, candidates are strongly encouraged to thoroughly review the eligibility criteria and pertinent details. Mandatory fields in the online form are marked with an asterisk (*).

For document submission, applicants must provide details such as Certificate No., Issue date, Issuing authority, and upload supporting documents/certificates (when requested) in PDF format.

The file size should not exceed 2 MB, ensuring legibility when printed. Documents can be scanned at 200 dpi grayscale.

During the Personal Viva-Voce Interview, document details submitted in the online application form will be verified.

Applicants are advised to fill in all information in the application form carefully. They should enable the ‘Preview’ button by clicking on the declarations checkbox before the final submission.

It is crucial to ensure that all relevant fields are correctly filled before the final submission, as editing after submission is not allowed.

Documents, including educational qualifications, age proof, caste, etc., should be uploaded in legible condition. Utilize the preview option before final submission to guarantee document clarity.

After previewing, applicants can choose to either click ‘Submit’ for final submission or ‘Cancel’ for necessary corrections before the final submission of the Application Form.

Upon form submission, applicants must pay the application fee along with the applicable processing fee.
