AIIMS Guwahati Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
A Post Graduation Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB) or Equivalent in respective discipline; MDS for Dentistry from recognized University/Institute as provided under the Residency Scheme. All the terms and conditions of the Residency Resident Scheme will be applicable.
Essential Qualification for Non-Medical Candidates :
Anatomy:- M.Sc., Ph.D. (Human Anatomy) from a recognized University/Institute
Physiology :- M.Sc., Ph.D. (Medical Physiology / Physiology) from a recognized University/Institute
Biochemistry:- M.Sc., Ph.D. (Medical Biochemistry /Biochemistry) from a recognized University/Institute
Microbiology:- M.Sc., Ph.D. (Medical Microbiology/Microbiology) from a recognized University/Institute
AIIMS Guwahati Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
Maximum Age-limit for AIIMS Guwahati Recruitment 2024 :
Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 (Forty-five) years as on the date of publishing this notification in Institute website.
(i) Upper age limit shall be determined as on the date of publishing this notification in Institute website.
(ii) No age relaxation would be available to SC/ST/OBC Candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
(iii) Age relaxation :
- SC/ST : 05 years
- OBC : 03 years
- PwD (OPH) : 10 years

Selection Process of AIIMS Guwahati Recruitment
i) The candidate can apply for more than one post out of enlisted Departments.
ii) The merit list for all categories i.e UR / EWS / OBC i SC / ST (selected and waiting list) shall be prepared on the basis of personal interview
iii) Selected candidates will have to report for document verification following which the offers of appointment will be issued to the successful candidates subject to Verification of their documents and found in order.
iv) Any vacancy arising because of non-joining of the selected candidates in this selection or on resignation of candidates; selected post will be offered to the candidates from waiting list according to their merit list.
